- Account details such as name, email address, and password (stored securely)
- Business listing information you submit (description, website, phone, locations, photos, maps links)
- Payment and subscription metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Usage data such as widget activity, referral link opens, and analytics needed to run the service
- Support messages you send us
3. How we use data
- To create and manage accounts and listings
- To publish approved listings in the public directory
- To process payments, upgrades, and referral discounts
- To operate Trust Score, widgets, confirmation quizzes, and related features
- To send service emails (verification, security, billing, and important account notices)
- To improve reliability, security, and product quality
4. Legal bases
We process personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you, where we have a legitimate interest in running a safe directory, where required by law, or where you have given consent (for example certain marketing preferences).
5. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Service providers who host or power the product (for example database, email, and payment providers)
- The public, for information you choose to publish on an active listing
- Authorities where required by law
We do not sell your personal data.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we use appropriate safeguards as required by UK data protection law.
7. Retention
We keep account and listing data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting, and security purposes, then delete or anonymise it when no longer needed.

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
