1. Who we are

TheWebLink is a UK business directory that helps verified businesses get discovered through category and county pages, listings, and related tools (widgets, referrals, and optional paid upgrades).

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login details secure.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or harm the directory.

3. Business listings

• You confirm you are authorised to list the business and that information submitted is truthful.
• Free listings may require widgets, social shout-outs, newsletter opt-in, and periodic confirmation.
• We may review, edit, refuse, or remove listings that are incomplete, misleading, unlawful, or low quality.
• Public listing pages are shown only when a listing is approved and active.

4. Paid plans

Premium and Highlighted plans are billed as described at checkout (typically annually via Stripe). Features and limits depend on the plan you purchase.

• Prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions renew according to Stripe and the plan terms until cancelled.
• Failure to pay may result in downgrade to a free plan or suspension of paid features.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use TheWebLink to:

• Publish unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
• Spam, scrape, or abuse the platform or other users
• Manipulate Trust Scores, rankings, or referral programmes dishonestly
• Embed broken or deceptive widgets or links

6. Intellectual property

TheWebLink branding, software, and directory structure remain our property. You retain rights in your own business content, and grant us a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the directory.

7. Disclaimers

The directory is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific search rankings, or business outcomes from listing. Trust Score and ranking methods may change as we improve the product.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
